At Déglon, new products fuel the brand dynamic
Déglon, the century-old brand from Thiers will be presenting a large number of new products at trade fairs, adding to its exclusive catalogue. Yet another demonstration of its capacity for innovation.
The ‘Y’ range reinvented
To adapt it to the constraints of everyday use, Déglon has revisited ‘Y’, its iconic exceptional range. In its ‘Evolution’ version, each knife becomes a natural extension of the hand, enabling all cuts to be made with impeccable precision. The modernized design adds a contemporary touch to these knives, featuring a full tang, ultra-resistant blade (X46Cr13 stainless steel) and an ergonomic handle with harmonious curves, made from rosewood. In addition to offering a sleek line, the exposed heel makes full sharpening of the blade easier. The range includes a 10 cm paring knife, a 15 cm kitchen knife, two carving knives (20 and 25 cm), a 17 cm filleting knife, a 19 cm carving knife, and a 19 cm bread knife. All of them are made in France.
A focus on boxed sets
Following the success of a recent test, Déglon is developing its ‘three-knife set’ collection, which presents sets of knives with complementary functions and uses in attractive magnetic-lock boxes. Available in a variety of compositions and ranges (‘Idéale Sabatier Dég’ ABS or olive wood, ‘Highwoods’, ‘Oryx’, etc.), this set is a refined choice for any occasion. Custom compositions are available on request.
A new peeler
In 2025, Déglon presents its first vertical peeler with a pivoting blade, an indispensable kitchen tool for peeling any fruit or vegetable, especially those with very thin skins (tomatoes, peppers, kiwis, etc.). It’s equipped with an ultra-sharp, micro-serrated double blade – ensuring precise results and ambidextrous use – along with a stainless steel eyelet to remove the fruits‘ and vegetables’ eyes. The ergonomic ABS handle has a hanging hole for easy storage. The peeler is sold with its blade protection cover.
The ‘Stop’Glisse’ range expands
The ‘Stop’Glisse’ range is characterised by the insertion of a notch under the handles, ensuring the utensils are held perfectly in place on preparation containers. The range has now been expanded to include a series of ‘high-temperature’ utensils that can withstand temperatures above 230°C. The ‘Serving Spoon’ is distinguished by its surface and depth, allowing you to serve a portion in a single motion. The straight edges of the spoon help to lift fragile dishes without breaking them. The ‘Cuillère du Chef’ or ‘bastinguette’ is ideal for tasting recipes as they are being prepared, checking seasoning, or basting during cooking. The ‘Openwork Flexible Spatula’ is perfect for flipping fish fillets, fried eggs, steaks, or any other delicate dish. The perforated section allows fats and sauces to drain away. Thin and flexible, it glides under food without damaging it. All of these spoons and spatulas have been designed to protect non-stick surfaces without scratching them.
A new addition to the range, the Stop’Glisse kitchen tongs are an essential tool for professional chefs, combining performance and practicality: perfect for gripping, turning, and serving with precision. Resistant to very high temperatures, they are sturdy and ergonomic, ensuring comfortable use even during intensive tasks. Their one-hand opening and closing system facilitates quick movements in the kitchen. The flexible silicone head protects delicate surfaces, while the fibreglass-reinforced polyamide handle and stainless-steel prongs ensure durability and strength.
Déglon has also expanded its ‘Stop’Glisse Pâtisserie’ range with a half-spatula featuring a flexible, ergonomic head, perfect for scraping the bottoms and edges of containers, even in the most difficult corners (saucepans, mixing bowls, pots, mixers, etc.).
All Stop’Glisse products are robust and guarantee hygiene in accordance with HACCP recommendations.
