Cookut goes ‘Merveilleuse’
After the spectacular success of its previous ranges, which surprised the market and delighted retailers, Cookut is continuing its journey in the cooking sector by introducing a range that is set to be much talked about. It is being presented to us by Loïc Debart, Cookut’s Creative Director as an exclusive preview.
With the stroke of a ‘Maitre’- the name of one of the brand’s founders – Cookut has become a key player in the French cooking sector. After the ‘Fabuleuse’ and the ‘Incroyable’, it is with the ‘Merveilleuse’ that the brand hopes to continue fueling the passion of cooking and design enthusiasts. This is its first stainless steel range, which stands out both for its technical features and a small stylistic revolution. The Cookut effect is once again brought to life through color, which adorns the exterior of this stainless-steel cookware range. Six colors are available to match the other products in the brand’s collection. A ‘French touch’ that has captivated audiences far beyond our borders.
Cookut presents the ‘Merveilleuse’ as an alternative to traditional ranges in several ways. ‘Our products are more than just beautiful and clever – they offer quality that meets the highest standards,’ says Loïc Debart, emphasising the brand’s commitment to using nickel-free stainless steel. ‘In addition to being more sustainable in production, this material meets the needs of consumers allergic to nickel, who aim to minimise contact with it as much as possible.’ The stainless steel is reinforced with copper and titanium to improve cooking performance and product durability (suitable for all heat sources and ovens). For its launch, the range includes three essential items: a saucepan, a frying pan, and a sauté pan. The range is complemented by coloured lids and removable handles, allowing for product personalisation. In total, ten handle models (with invisible triggers) are available: customers can choose from six colours and metal or wood finishes. This is the result of an in-house development process that took two years. ‘Cookut is a serious brand in the world of cooking that has broken the mould by daring to also be a design brand. This is what has opened doors to specialist kitchen shops, concept stores, and interior design shops, both in France and abroad.’
The collection will be showcased at the 2025 trade shows, starting with Maison&Objet (Accessories sector), Milano Home, and Ambiente, along with a cookbook dedicated to stainless steel cooking for all, gathering recipes developed by Clémentine and Nina from Cookut, who have successfully built a powerful and loyal community on social media. In terms of pricing, the range is expected to start at around €79 incl. VAT (article written in December 2024, editor’s note).
‘It was obvious for Cookut to develop a stainless-steel range, which is a pillar of traditional cooking, but we wanted to do it differently and more in the Cookut spirit by offering a colourful, designer and innovative range ‘.
‘The Incredible Baking Dish’
Another flagship product from Cookut, ‘The Incredible Baking Dish,’ launched at the end of 2024, is also experiencing huge success in shops. Thanks to its patented adjustable separator, you can easily change the size of your dish to suit your needs. To make the product even more versatile, the brand also sells individual separators. PPI: €19.90 incl. VAT. The Incredible Baking Dish with its separator. PPI: €89.90 incl. VAT.
