Zara Home announces its latest collaboration with Morris & Co., the original company founded by William Morris in 1861 and a celebrated name in British design and craftsmanship.

This exclusive partnership introduces a curated collection of homeware and furniture that seamlessly blends heritage artistry with a harmonious fusion of classic and contemporary aesthetics, offering a refined perspective on timeless design.

Inspired by the extensive archive of Morris & Co., featuring the work of founder, William Morris, one of the most influential figures of the Arts & Crafts movement, this collection reinterprets his iconic prints, thoughtfully adapted to resonate with modern interiors while preserving historical craft.

“This collaboration has been a joy to work on – a true celebration of Morris & Co. and our enduring legacy. Our archive is a treasure trove. It was a pleasure to collaborate on this timeless range of furniture and homeware that truly reflect the serenity and appeal of Morris & Co. designs.” Claire Vallis, Design Director.

A creative Partnership

The Morris & Co. x Zara Home collection emerges from a close collaboration between design teams. Together, they meticulously explored the vast archive, selecting and reimagining iconic designs, including Double Bough, Strawberry Thief, and Pimpernel. These designs, characterised by botanical motifs and intricate detailing, have been adapted for an engaging collection.

Morris & Co. designs, often depicting foliage, fruits, flowers, and wildlife, remain as relevant today as in the late Victorian era. Fabrics have been revived in washed linens and cottons, evoking elegant versatility for timeless interiors.

Cosy blankets, quilts, cushions, and a delightful selection of pet ware, including beds and a charming blanket, sit alongside new furniture pieces. A graceful chaise longue upholstered in Pimpernel linen fabric and benches in Double Bough and Strawberry Thief have all been carefully selected to complete this captivating collection.

Morris & Co. x Zara Home collection will be available in selected stores and online at www. zarahome.com starting 3rd March.

About Morris & Co.

As a political theorist, publisher, environmental campaigner, poet, and outstanding designer, William Morris (1834–1896) was one of the single most influential figures of the nineteenth century, founding Morris & Co. (originally Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co.) in 1861. Under his direction, the company grew into a flourishing and fashionable Arts & Crafts decorating business renowned for wallpapers and textiles, becoming part of Sanderson & Sons in 1940.

Today, the Sanderson Design Group builds on that proud heritage with the inventive reimagining of Morris & Co. classics, ever upholding the impeccable standard of craftsmanship that has defined all Morris & Co. products since inception. Guided by the creative intuition of William Morris, designs are inspired by treasures in the Morris & Co. archive, which houses historical logbooks, samples of each wallpaper, printed and woven textiles and original wooden printing blocks. With the ability to faithfully transform a space into an Arts & Crafts haven through evocation of the glorious drama and wonderment in nature, the authentic archival documents and designs of Morris & Co. continue to inspire interest and insatiable demand to this day.
